J.R.D. Tata was a man of principles, he always dated his signatures. But when signing on flight covers if it was taken on same day he will date it. If it was taken any other day than the date on the flight cover he will simply sign and not date it.
Not a Flight Cover but the cover depicts JRD Tata's First Flight.
Signed and Dated By JRD on the date of Issue.
Post & Telegraph dept. issued a stamp and cover to commemorate 50 years of civil aviation. Also 50years JRD Tata took the first flight from Karachi to Bombay via Ahemdabad. JRD Tata re-enacted the historic flight again after 50 years.
